Starting a podcast may sound easy, but to get it "right" requires more than just hitting record. Podcasts are a great way to introduce students to:
- Script writing
- Audio Equipment
- Video Equipment
- Studio Broadcast Production/Time Management
- Alternative Media Distribution
And if your program or school doesn't have sports? Video Podcasts are a great way to incorporate broadcast standards!
During the training, Rick Williams of Floyd Co. CCA will
- Introduce you to the FAME Recording Studio and discuss
- Aligning Podcasts/Vlogs to the AVTF standards
- Discuss Equipment and Distribution Options

The goal of this workshop is for you to leave ready to start. You don't need to have a working studio at your school, or even plans in the works for one. BUT - you can absolutely use this workshop to learn what you need to get started.
