It's much more than "just a podcast"

Join GFA in Rome, GA at the Floyd County College and Career Academy for a hands-on, deep dive into Podcasting and Vlogging for k-12 programs!

Starting a podcast may sound easy, but to get it "right" requires more than just hitting record. Podcasts are a great way to introduce students to:

  • Script writing
  • Audio Equipment
  • Video Equipment
  • Studio Broadcast Production/Time Management
  • Alternative Media Distribution

And if your program or school doesn't have sports? Video Podcasts are a great way to incorporate broadcast standards!

During the training, Rick Williams of Floyd Co. CCA will

  • Introduce you to the FAME Recording Studio and discuss
  • Aligning Podcasts/Vlogs to the AVTF standards
  • Discuss Equipment and Distribution Options

PLUS

  • Tips on how to jump-start your AVTF program
  • Insights on using social media marketing for your AVTF program
