How to Register

Registration is directly through your home institution, as you would for any of your other courses. However, it is important to note that the available seats for these classes are shared with our other GFA partner schools. Seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

We utilize the INGRESS registration system which shuffles the available seats amongst all the institutions. The seats are shuffled every 10 minutes; so, if the course you would like is full, you may keep checking back as seats are shuffled, as students drop courses, etc. The number of available seats that you can see on your school’s registration page may not accurately reflect the actual available number since the INGRESS system overrides this.

Registration is directly through your home institution, as you did for your previous GFA course(s). Seats are available on a first come, first served basis.

Registration is directly through the GFA Pro Ed registration website(s) linked on our landing page.

Seats are available on a first come, first served basis. To ensure smooth registration, we have done our best to load the system with information previously tied to student accounts. If you are using a different email address than you have in the past or if you log in and do NOT see the craft course(s) that you want to register for, please fill out this form to let us know you need assistance getting registered.

If you have any further questions about registration, please visit our website.

NOTE: GFA's Professional Education program is NOT a way for university students to reserve seats. If you want to receive academic credit for your GFA classes, you must register through your school. Classes registered through Pro Ed are NOT transferable and are from a different pool of seats than those reserved for students enrolled at a participating institution.

Is the class you're interested in registering for already full? Add yourself to our waitlist! Should extra seats become available, they will be released to students on our waitlist on a first come, first served basis.

NOTE: The GFA waitlist does NOT reserve or hold your seat before registration opens at your school. You will not be able to register for a seat before registration opens at your home institution.

Our craft courses are offered at both the 2000 and 3000 level. You take one or the other; you cannot take both. The equivalent  courses cover the same industry knowledge and satisfy the prerequisite requirements for the 4000 level classes. The 3000 level courses typically include a little more academic rigor and extra academic assignments for students who need upper-level coursework as part of their degree requirements. Which one you take mostly depends on which one your school offers. If your school offers both, speak with your academic advisor about which one is the best option for you.

The course schedule gets posted on our website. You should always check your school’s course listings to see what is being offered by your school.

The GFA internship is available through application and acceptance ONLY. You cannot register without applying and being accepted. If you are accepted, we will send you information on how to get registered.
