Courses taken not for academic credit through the Georgia Film Academy professional & continuing education (GFA-CE) program are $750/course.

Payment is due in full when you register for the class.

Classes will meet one-day-a-week for 6 hours at a time (you can click the magnifying glass icon on the registration page for more schedule information). All classes will meet weekly for the duration of the semester. The Spring semester will run for 16 weeks from January 13-May 1.

The GFA offers professional certifications in three pathways:

  1. Film & Television Production
  2. Film & Television Post-Production
  3. Digital Entertainment, Esports & Game Development

Each certification is 18 credit hours (3 courses). You must complete the introductory course in your chosen pathway + a specialty craft course + a second specialty craft course or the internship course (by application/acceptance only) to earn your certification.

You may complete the certification in 2 semesters if taking an intro course (semester 1) and two craft courses (semester 2) to earn the 18 credit hours. If you are pursuing the Internship course, it will take three semesters to complete:

  • intro course (semester 1)
  • specialty craft course (semester 2)
  • internship/apprenticeship (semester 3)
