with two-year and four-year film production degrees that prepare students to enter Georgia’s film industry.

At Clayton State University, you'll develop skills in areas such as storytelling, compositing, editing, visual effects, motion graphics, and sound editing.

Program Highlights

• Hands-on, project-based courses with small class sizes and industry-involved faculty
• Alumni networking with Warner Bros. Discovery, Crafty Apes, NFL Network, and graduate-founded production companies
• Student films have won numerous awards and screened at more than 100 international film festivals
• Option to earn industry-recognized certification from the Georgia Film Academy as part of degree

with A GFA Industry Certification in Film & TV Production, Post-Production, or Live Streaming & Broadcasting.

The GFA is a unique workforce training program that collaborates with over 30 colleges and universities in Georgia to provide training at industry hubs across the state. 

Program Highlights

• All courses are taught by current or former industry professionals
• Students have hands-on access to the same equipment used in film, television, and broadcast productions
• GFA students can earn degree credit while attending courses at our GFA Studio Hubs
• Certification-only (Professional Ed) students can register for courses that fit their career goals and life schedules
• GFA has unique relationships with IATSE 479, film and television studios, and production facilities
